TOUCANS
There are about 43 types of toucans, but more are getting discovered. I will talk about the largest one of the species and the smallest, also some amazing facts about them too!
Toco Toucan
The toco toucan is one of the largest species of toucans. It is 63.5 cm (25 in) in length. The toco toucans also use their beaks to pluck and peel fruits by their beak. Even though they spend a lot of time in the trees, they are not that good at flying. They mainly travel by hopping tree to tree. They nest in the hollows of trees. Recent research says that toucans regulate their body temperature by adjusting the blood flowing to its beak, the toucans tuck their beak in their wings to keep them warm when sleeping.

Red-breasted Toucan ( A.K.A Green-billed toucan )
One of the smallest toucan of the toucan species. Approximately weighing 350 grams. Its beak is very small only measuring 10 cm. It has an orange throat and breast, red belly and tail sheltered, and red orbital skin. The beak of this bird is mostly pale green so the toucan can also be referred as the 'Green-billed Toucan'. The toucans jaw, a bill, is shorter then most other toucan species, only 4 inches or 10 cm in length. They live a lifespan around 20 years or so.
